Our Team
Founder & President
Eugene Whiskeyjack
Eugene Whiskeyjack has over 25 years of experience working with Indigenous Economic Developers, First Nations and Métis business professionals, and community leaders throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, and British Columbia.
With over 15 years in Indigenous commercial lending as Senior Loans Manager at the Alberta Indian Investment Corporation (AIIC) — an Aboriginal Financial Institution — Eugene recognized a critical gap in the professional landscape: Indigenous communities needed access to consultants who truly understood their unique circumstances.
Raised in both Saddle Lake Cree Nation and One Arrow First Nation in Saskatchewan, and married to Barbara — a Dakelh lady from Saik'uz First Nation in Northern BC — Eugene brings a deeply personal understanding of the conditions and circumstances faced by Indigenous communities. He builds solutions that are real, achievable, and culturally sound.
Eugene founded Whiskeyjack Group with the vision that a talented network of sub-contractors could provide Indigenous entrepreneurs and communities with the solutions they need to grow and thrive.
